LIGHT TO MODERATE
Once again, flying before the wind
the collected waters display silhouettes,
scalloped shadows of passing residents
while native sea birds off Bye-da-wee
inspect a load of fresh fish heads
with a chorus of familiar melodies.
Gray-green chops, light to moderatesmack on rocks before the sunset,
and pine cooled lavender and orange trade
as light moves out and air rushes in.
Survival is an unsolved mystery hereconforming to an unknown planet
by an all-weather web-foot union,
lightly, moderately disappearing.
