NATURE'S WAY
A man sure of his woman is near death.
He longs for that mysterious onewho has everything she needs
to betray a man in 45 minutes.
It's nature's way.
I imagine you like that
five minutes after my death
phoning someone to come make love to you,
my body still warm in the room.
I know how a woman needs to feel alive
especially, when death lies close to her.
That sounds more exciting than the sex during sex.
When the night sighs and falls silent
and a shriek breaks in the distance
and somewhere the telephone rings
someone kneeling over a corpse
wants to be assured that she is alive.
A man moves toward her with all
the life giving force he can give her.
If you should die
I would dread the woman who would run
to me at such an hour
no matter how strong her life giving force
or how much I needed to feel alive.
A man sure of his woman IS near death,
and no good woman will go near him,
so he longs for that mysterious one
who has everything she needs
to betray a man in 45 minutes.
The man dies first, It's nature's way.
