INFINITE YES

  
 

Give me your unending yes,

One that consumes, ignites

The volatile fumes of your soul.

 

Affirm your wants and needs,

Yeses undaunted by the clock,

Yes in a weed, a mock orange.

 

Give me an uncontrollable sign,

A wrong end of the bed grab,

Upside down and beyond yes.

 

Show me the yes that waits

Calmly, shifting uncertainties

On your seat of consciousness.

 

Sound the heart that hammers

Yeses into mirrors, nostalgic

Reminders, thunderous yeses.

 

Bless the shower of yeses

The slow titter of rain yes,

And the rainbow aura yes.

 

Share with me one lonely yes,

Seasonal, crystal ball yes, and

All the infinite yeses to come.
