The much anticipated
Think Small 3 is finally coming! For those of you who are
lovers and collectors of art, or even those who are new to
the art scene, this is your opportunity! Think Small 3 will
exhibit at both art6 and Artspace
galleries this year, opening on First Friday, November 4th,
2005 from 7pm to to 10pm, and will run through Saturday,
December 17th, 2005.
Think Small 3 will feature the
work of over 290 artists who have accepted the challenge to
create work no larger then 3” by 3”. This fundraising event
for both galleries will feature 2-dimensional and
3-dimensional work from artists living in the Republic of
Georgia, France, England, Canada, Hungary, Iraq, Wales,
Sweden, Korea, Qatar and Germany as well as from, New York,
Florida, Chicago, Texas, North Carolina, Wisconsin,
Connecticut, Massachusetts, Colorado and Nebraska. Many of
finest Richmond’s artists will also be represented in the

Gala Preview Receptions will be held simultaneously at both
locations on Thursday, November 3rd from 7pm to 10pm. The
purchase of a ticket will include complimentary beverages,
food from some of Richmond’s finest restaurants and musical
entertainment at both locations featuring music of renowned
jazz pianist Russell Wilson and Northside Consort with Blake
Morris, Ron Davis and Raphael Seligmann. Free shuttle
service will also be available to transport guests between
the Gala Preview Receptions. Tickets for the gala
event are priced at $25 in advance,
$30 at the door and will are available at both
galleries.

Fieldwork
The Fall Fieldwork session will be an 8-week session
on Monday evenings from October24 thru December 12 from 7-9 p.m.
at art6, 6 E. Broad Street in Richmond. The final showing will be a
performance on Saturday, December 17 at 8 p.m. also at art6.
Fieldwork is a rigorous workshop designed to help artists working in
various disciplines gather information about their work.
